Topic -  Reproducing Mature Parts Using Contemporary Technologies

ABSTRACT: Our Customer, the US Navy under contract to THINK Technologies, took a military airplane part designed in 1959 and through our joint teaming and engineering we improved its performance, eliminated tooling, reduced the amount of parts, and dramatically reduced production time and labor cost by using contemporary design, manufacturing and testing technologies, as well as materials. Furthermore, this part was put through conventional source qualification involving ATP, SOF and QTP Testing procedures and passed on all levels.

About the Speaker: Dan Dilkey is a graduate of USC where he was a Business Finance Major. Dan is Owner / THINK! Technology, Product Development and Production of Specialty Performance and Light Weight Parts for Honda Motor Corp. / HRC Japan-Europe-Australia-USA, Kawasaki Motor Corp. Japan-Europe, Suzuki Motor Corp. Japan-Europe-USA, Yamaha Motor Corp. Japan-USA and the US Navy. The US Air Force has our next project in a similar vein to the US Navy program highlighted here.
