Carbon Fiber Update

Thomas Lemire, Vice President,
Toho Tenax America, Inc.

TOPIC:

Here are 5 questions facing the Carbon Fiber Industry. If you are curious and want to learn more, we welcome your attendance.

September is a great time to rekindle your composites knowledge. (If you already know all the answers, then stay home and hibernate.)

- Is there still a shortage of Carbon Fiber?

- Will Airbus, Boeing, and the DDG 1000 consume all the Aero grade fiber?

- Why all the fuss about Export Compliance?

- How are Large Tow (>24K) and Regular Tow fibers being accepted in the marketplace?

- What does the future look like for Carbon Fibers?
