Optically Measuring and Inspecting Your World


TOPIC:

Capture 3D will be presenting various non-contact optical based solutions addressing:
• 3D Optical form and feature measuring system for Inspection and Reverse Engineering - ATOS
• Coordinate measuring techniques through Digital Photogrammetry to support inspection and deformation analysis - TRITOP
• Instantaneous point measuring system to track motion and deformation - PONTOS
• Deformation, thinning and train of sheet metal in the stamping process - ARGUS
• Measurement of components & parts deformation under load - ARAMIS
• Measurement of deformation, strain, vibration amplitude in micrometer range - ESPI

Capture 3D will have the ATOS non-contact 3D scanning system at the meeting for demonstration purposes. We invite attendees to bring parts to the event with the intent to perform test scans. We can also perform an “AS BUILT” Vs. “As Designed” analysis if a CAD model of the part is available.

SPEAKER:

Johan Gout, Director of Operations, Capture 3D Inc.
Johan is the Director of Operations and co-founder of Capture 3D Inc. Capture 3D is the North American integrator of GOM’s ATOS and TRITOP solutions. Johan holds a BSME degree from Cal State Long Beach and has a background in the CAD/CAM/CAE environment via companies such as Hewlett Packard, Parametric Technology and Imageware Corporations.

Ryder Nesbitt, Application Engineer, Capture 3D Inc.
Ryder hold a MS degree in Spatial Imaging from MIT with an undergrad BS in Physical Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is currently an application engineer at Capture 3D and has previously held the position as scientist at Metrolaser

OrCo SAMPE Christmas Party • Saturday, Dec. 2

The party will be held at the Pala Casino, starting with the cocktail hour. An excellent dinner will be served, followed by a prize drawing. The Casino has 2,000 slot machines and a wide variety of table games—poker, black jack, etc. There are also two lounges with live entertainment. $50 per person.

The Pala Casino is located at 11154 Highway 76 between Temecula & Escondido in Pala.
