Tooling for Rapid Prototyping of Automotive and Aerospace Applications.
Brian Sarinana - Swift Engineering
Brian's presentation will be on Swift Engineering's tooling approaches to rapid
prototyping for automotive and aerospace applications. Highlighted will be
several projects Swift has done over the past year and different methods used
to make composite tools and why.
Brian comes from 22 years of Manufacturing R&D at McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing
developing new structures and processes in composites and metallics. He was
tied to every composite structure at MDC from 1980 through
2002 from a "get it done" manufacturing engineering standpoint. After
leaving Boeing, Brian developed manufacturing lines for the 767 aerial refueling
system at Smiths then an F-15 pressure deck/canopy cell for GKN. Brian joined
Swift Engineering 3 years ago as their Mfg R&D engineer for all new
contracts, tool estimating and new manufacturing processes.
