ABSTRACT
MAKEiT, Inc. is a privately held company in Alhambra, California. Since the earliest prototypes, MAKEiT has focused on building the highest quality desktop 3D printers for professional design, industrial, and manufacturing applications. MAKEiT printers are designed, assembled, and tested in Los Angeles with the help of trusted local suppliers and partners. In addition to the machines themselves, MAKEiT offers a portfolio of other services to MAKEiT owners and strategic partners including design consulting, overflow manufacturing, and batch printing file setup.
BIO
Tom serves as the Director of Sales for MAKEiT, Inc. He has twenty years of sales and manufacturing experience in the life science, industrial, aerospace, plastics and automotive industries. Prior to MAKEiT, Tom led the turnaround of Inter-Tool, a manufacturer of innovative grinding and polishing equipment for the concrete and stone industry. Earlier in his career, Tom managed operations at the startup HandyLab that was later acquired by Becton Dickinson for $275 million. Tom started his career at Gelman Sciences in new product development and still considers himself a “recovering engineer.” Tom has an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Plastics Engineering and Marketing from Ferris State University.
